Inner Harbor

Baltimore Inner Harbor: Sitting alongside the Chesapeake Bay, the beautiful Inner Harbor area is resplendent with shops, bars and restaurants. The Harbor itself is home to the National Aquarium, featuring an impressive collection of sea life including dolphins, sharks and it’s own Rain forest complete with visiting sloth! Also in the Harbor is the Maryland Science Center, brimming with fascinating technological exhibits.

Fort McHenry

Fort McHenry: Baltimore saw the birth of the Star Spangled Banner – America’s national anthem. There is a museum commemorating this and a trip to Fort McHenry will take you to the scene where Francis Scott Key penned his famous ode following a famous victory against the British in the War of 1812.

Night Life

Neighbourhoods to Explore: Baltimore has great neighbourhoods for exploring! Federal Hill boasts a great urban mix of trendy eateries and bars. If local culture is more your speed, Mount Vernon is worth a visit. It is home to the Washington Monument and Walter’s Art Museum and also close to many great eating and drinking options. Or perhaps the historic neighbourhood of Fell’s Point is more for you – with cobblestone streets, eclectic shops and more bars than you can shake a stick at, it doesn’t get any more quintessentially Baltimore than this great area of town.
