Terms and Conditions

Thank you for booking with Touchdown Trips, a division of MVP Travel.

We are aware of the difficulties posed with making a decision on booking a trip this season following an unprecedented year for us all. For this reason, we are relaxing our normal booking conditions in relation to all 2021 NFL packages to ensure as much flexibility as possible for our clients. Here are two updates to our Covid-19 Terms and Conditions and a look at possible scenarios that will impact your holiday.

Compliance with COVID regulations

Passengers will be responsible for complying with all government, supplier and venue requirements pertaining to providing proof of vaccinations if required to travel and enter sporting events as well as taking/supplying results of COVID tests (both rapid flow and PCR) as required. Passengers are responsible for associated costs. We will be able to assist with discounted PCR tests as part of your package if required.

Travel Insurance

Please note if you are unable to travel due to a positive COVID test either for yourself or a member of your travelling party, our normal cancellation terms and conditions would apply. It is therefore essential that you have travel insurance with comprehensive COVID cover in place. We can offer this as part of your package if required.

Below are the following possible scenarios and what we are doing in order to address them as we head towards the autumn.

Possible Scenarios:

NFL season proceeds as scheduled with full stadiums and no US/UK travel bans
NFL games are played with no fans in attendance
NFL season is completely cancelled
Government mandated UK-US travel ban is in effect
Regional blackouts – some teams will play without fans
Fans in attendance at a decreased number
Enforced quarantine on either side of the Atlantic

Scenario Analysis:

NFL season proceeds as scheduled with full stadiums and no US/UK travel bans

In this scenario your booking will be performed as normal and our standard booking terms and conditions apply.

NFL games are played with no fans in attendance

In this scenario your game tickets will be fully refundable. All other travel elements, unless otherwise notified at time of booking, will also be refundable until approximately 60 days prior to departure.

NFL season is completely cancelled

Government mandated UK-US travel ban is in effect

If games are still going ahead in the US and fans are permitted to attend, then game tickets would be non-refundable if cancelled within 60 days of departure but we would be able to relist them for sale and attempt to recover as much as possible on your behalf to apply back to your booking. All travel elements would be refundable less a £25 booking administration fee, or funds could be converted to a refund credit note for use in full towards a 2022 booking.

Regional Blackouts – some teams will play without fans

This will depend on which team or teams you are booked to see. The above guidelines would apply to your booking depending on the policy affecting the team in question.

Fans in attendance at a decreased number

Your booking will be able to proceed as booked, however all ticket prices are quoted on the presumption of full stadiums. If fan attendance is reduced, it is anticipated demand will go up and game ticket prices will increase. We will advise you of any additional amounts due should this occur and you will be able to make an informed decision as to whether you wish to pay the additional amount. If you do not, we will be able to cancel your ticket order and the rest of your holiday until approximately 60 days prior to departure.

Enforced quarantine on either side of the Atlantic

We will be able to cancel and obtain full refund for all travel elements until approximately 60 days prior to departure. The game ticket elements will depend on the situation with games being played and if so with or without fans as described above.

We understand that factors such as restrictions on travel or fan attendance can change within 60 days of scheduled departure and we undertake to do all we can to protect your booking in such a scenario within this time frame. Under such circumstances, we will not be imposing any change or rebooking fees.

Travel Solutions

While we hope your holiday will be able to proceed unencumbered, we are pleased to say that even in less positive scenarios, we will still be able offer you a variety of options to ensure that as soon as the situation warrants, you will be able to enjoy the holiday that you deserve.

Rebook for 2022 Season

We will be able keep your booking file active in our system, which avoids the incurring of any system fees that would come with cancelling this down, and retain any monies paid in full for use toward a 2022 trip.
